Parisar is a Pune-based NGO working on sustainable urban mobility since 1988. In December 2025, Parisar released its Cycle Track Audit Report (2024–25) covering 35 km across 19 roads — finding that only 11% of segments were rated "Good."
CycleAudit is Parisar's internal auditing tool used by surveyors on the ground to document the real condition of Pune's cycle tracks. Every obstruction, broken surface, missing ramp, and dangerous intersection is recorded, scored, and converted into advocacy evidence.

Once a segment is submitted, it is automatically locked to prevent duplicate entries. Surveyors can view submitted data but cannot overwrite it — ensuring data integrity across the entire audit.
Once all segments are audited, a weighted final score (0–100) is calculated using segment lengths as weights. Roads scoring below 50 are rated "Poor" and flagged for priority intervention.
Each segment receives three independent scores — Safety, Continuity, and Comfort — which are averaged into a final score from 0 to 100.
